St. Johns real estate is experiencing one of the busiest periods in recent memory. It has become a regular occurence to work 60 plus hours a week with late night suppers and very early mornings. Although I enjoy my job very much, days like today are much needed and anticipated.
I sit here now typing on my treo in a camp chair next to the fire pit in gushues pond park. The sun is out, the kids are playing and you can here laughter all over the RV park. Gushues pond is located about 35 minutes outside St. John's and offers 150 plus camp sites, some serviced, a convenience store, 3 ponds including a beach area and miles of hiking and riding trails. Located in Brigus Junction, you are near cabin country and some of the most sought after country in cabin real estate on the Avalon Peninsula. a little piece of gods country here for sure, especially when the sun is out.
I have been coming to Gushues pond now for 2 years and have one of the nicest and most private sites in the park. I like this place for many reasons, but being an avid golfer and being 15 minutes from The Wilds golf course, one of the nicest on the island, certainly is nice. I play 20 or so rounds there a year, and hope to play a good one there soon!! Each of the rounds has ended with the course winning but its golf, so no complaints.
